Job Title: Experienced Electrical Estimator
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: Up to 65,000 (Based on Experience)+ Car Allowance
We are a large M&E Contractor based in Wolverhampton, seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. We work across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, local authority, education, and government. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for projects in commercial, industrial, education, and government sectors.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand the full scope of work.
- Conduct detailed take-offs from design drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment for multi-million-pound projects.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotes and ensure best value.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure seamless handover of successful tenders.
- Provide detailed reports and assist with bid proposals.
- Stay updated on market trends and pricing strategies to ensure competitive and accurate estimating.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator within the M&E sector.
- Proven track record of estimating for projects in the commercial, industrial, education, and government sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and MS Office.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar.
