Mortgage Assistant Responsibilities:
If you are successful in joining our team, your first 6months will focus on getting to know our customers and delivering a great customer experience. Understanding our organisation and our purpose as a Building Society is key and this, alongside gaining an in-depth knowledge of our products and services, will be the starting point for your career with us. From there, you’ll enhance your knowledge, skills and understanding in areas such as our customer journey, insights, and service delivery.
You’ll be supported every step of the way by your line manager, your colleagues, and others from within the Society and you’ll benefit from the support of a training provider who knows and understands Darlington Building Society, our expectations, and our values.

Living and breathing these behaviours, you will;
• Become part of our Direct Sales team, offering support to customers on mortgage queries, received via a variety of channels including telephone, post, email and secure message for new or existing mortgages from application to completion.
• Play an active part in the community and support your colleagues in building effective relationships with the local 5 initiatives.
• You will deliver high standard quality in the administrative tasks as required within the role and be a passionate individual to provide excellent service for all stakeholders within the mortgage journey.

Location: Head Office - Darlington
Salary: £21,120 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 35 hrs. Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm & Saturday 9am – 2pm (Working pattern to be confirmed at interview)
Interview dates: Thursday 16th and Friday 17th September.
