Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Specialist.

This is a specialist position with the responsibility for extracting, refining, collating, analysing, and presenting data in appropriate formats which can offer ways to improve the business, thus affecting strategic decision making across the department.  The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining standardized systems to record critical data along with performing in-depth data analysis to create and maintain reports that identify trends, issues and opportunities for the process engineering team to focus on.

Responsibilities

The candidate will have knowledgeable in common database applications and should be experienced in using modern tools and programs for database connectivity and data extraction.  Candidates should possess very strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to work well in teams.  Other responsibilities include:

  • e-DHR creation/maintenance using Adobe, JavaScript, NuGenesis and Vision.
  • e-SOP creation/maintenance using LabView
  • Yield data administration/optimisation/standardisation across entire department
  • Wexford Dashboard creation/maintenance using Power BI allowing a complete drill-down through operational metrics
  • EnLabel Administrator responsible for creating and updating labels across the department and a point of contact for software related issues.
  • CoPQ reporting
  • VOP reporting

Qualifications

Education/Training:

  • Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Management or any other related field.

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar position would be an advantage

Competencies/Qualities:

  • Natural skill set/understanding of related programs
  • Working knowledge in SQL and JavaScript.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel including VBA and Power Queries
  • Proficient in other basic Microsoft Office Applications
  • The ability to use Power BI (including knowledge of the DAX language) would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, data enrichment techniques and predictive analytics
  • Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations.
  • Critical thinker – Identifying patterns and extracting actionable insights and information
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills
