About The Role
The Property Acquisitions Specialist will support the Senior Property Managers (Acquisitions & Development) in the delivery of New Space in line with Morrison’s New Space Strategy. You will build key internal relationships with; Location Planning, Finance, Cost, Construction and Retail to deliver New Space proposals to the Capitals Approvals Board.
This role is based at our Head Office in Bradford and is a full-time, permanent position. This role would also suit a year in Industry placement.
Last year we launched our ‘4 day week’, the working pattern for this role is 4 days per week of 9 hours per day, based in our Bradford Head Office. There is also a requirement to work 1 in 4 Saturdays, or 13 per year (6 hours) in Head Office providing the opportunity to workshop ideas and collaborate outside of the day to day.
You'll be responsible for things like this in the role;
  • Building strong and influential relationships across the business
  • Analytical support; Production of reports and documents to support the focus of the team
  • Attendance and involvement at cost sign-off meetings
  • ‘Your Say’ Forum Involvement
  • Collating Town reports and controlling  the work in progress (WIP)
  • Preparation of sites viewing packs 
  • Collating board packs and meeting deadlines for the Capital Approval Committee
  • Working as a supportive and effective team member, assisting with ad hoc projects
  • Tracking team performance against targets
About You
You'll need skills and experience like this;
  • Genuine interest in Property Development (opportunity to gain RICS qualification)
  • Degree in real estate is preferred
  • Tenacity; determined to achieve the right result
  • The ability to influence others and build effective networks
  • A structured, detailed and process driven approach to planning and organising work
  • Ability to review new information, adapt style and develop new ways of working
