An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reception Supervisor to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company.

We are looking for a part-time Reception Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will manage our team of Receptionists as well as work on our Reception desk being the first point of contact to our head office in Wokingham, ensuring a seamless front desk experience.

Daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Answering and diverting incoming calls from the main switchboard
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring they are checked in and badges allocated
  • Creating welcome signs for external visitors
  • Sorting incoming and external post
  • Organising and communicating lunches
  • Keeping telephone and employee lists up to date and organised
  • Liaising with other members of staff, and helping with other administration when required
  • Manage and take responsibility of Main Reception and Receptionists
  • Organise Reception Team holiday and arrange cover where required
  • Keep track of Reception overtime and ensure it is communicated to Payroll
  • Complete Reception Team annual appraisals
  • Ensure that any updates and changes are communicated to the Team in a timely manner
  • Ensuring any new members of the team are training and Receptionist training is kept up to date
  • Ensure that Reception documents are kept up to date

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working as a Receptionist
  • Experience working in a Supervisory or Managerial position
  • Experience answering and re-directing phone calls
  • Confident using basic functions in Microsoft Office

Hours of Work:

  • 13.5 hours per week
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (12:30 pm – 17:00pm)
  • Flexibility to cover Reception Team Holiday/Absence (as required)
