Senior Residential Support Worker
Young Foundations provides a specialist provision for children and young adults, who have a range of identified complex and challenging needs.
Howard House School is a service designed to help children and young adults with complex needs face some of the most challenging transitions they might encounter on their pathway to independence. Whether this is the transition from hospital to the community, or from residential care to independence, young people will experience at Howard House School the relationships and clinical support they need to achieve success in adulthood.
Senior Residential Support Worker Responsibilities:
You will support the care team, deputy manager and manager in developing the service, contributing to positive outcomes for the children and young adults and the service as a whole.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, to include clinical staff such as psychiatrist, psychologists, occupational health, therapist, education and social workers in order to achieve positive outcomes.
Senior Residential Support Worker Requirements:
As a senior residential support worker you should be highly motivated, committed and have a genuine interest in delivering the highest quality of care for children and young adults in an outstanding residential setting.
You will have proven experience of supporting children and young adults in a similar environment. It is essential for the applicant to hold the relevant Diploma 3 / 4 qualification in Health and Social Care. Experience managing teams is desirable.

Salary: £10.87 - £11.54 per hour
