Strategic Account Consultant - Public Sector

Content+Cloud is a high-growth, UK based-and-built, technology firm. We are looking for a talented consultant to play a critical role in building relationships with our largest public sector clients. Our ideal candidate has a background in business consulting and understands how to identify client's business problems and connect them with our wide range of technical solutions. They are driven by a commitment to improving public services and a belief in the power technology has to do good. As a strategic account consultant, you will represent our company and interact with major clients and partners at a strategic level. Responsibilities:
  • Manage 2-3 major public sector accounts
  • Grow the company's profile, understanding and revenues within those accounts
  • Establish strong, long-term client relationships
  • Influence and support delivery teams
  • Identify and respond to tenders
  • Create new solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner
  • Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams
  • Identify and approach new potential strategic customers
  • Monitor sales performance metrics
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts
Requirements:
  • Experience as a business or technology consultant with public sector clients
  • Experience writing successful public sector tenders
  • Experience of complex, multi-delivery public sector client engagements
  • An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel UK wide as needed
  • Willingness and ability to undergo security clearance to all levels
