Job Description

Provide an administrative support function to the Waste Disposal Operations team including account management and be Responsible for co-ordinating sales of compost.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Maintain an effective system for receiving incoming telephone and email enquiries associated with sales enquires. The system should provide a prompt answering service, capture useful marketing data and deal with or redirect enquiries appropriately.

Assist the Waste Solutions Consultants in raising sales quotations and agreements and to follow up quotations with the intention of converting them to orders and/or contracts.

Maintain an up-to-date database for all quotations and agreements.

To provide compost quotes and order taking, deliveries and processing cash sale payments where applicable.

To administer the hazardous waste consignment, notes ensuring producer returns are completed as and when required.

Communicate customer account and contract details to Waste Disposal operational staff to facilitate waste tipping and product delivery operations.

To provide technical support to the division with respect to internal software directed by line management.

To compile quarterly waste returns including hazardous waste returns and submit to the Environment Agency.

To maintain contractor/supplier information on internal databases (Entropy).

Undertake any task reasonably assigned by the Waste Operations Manager

To ensure compliance with the Group's policy on Restrictive Trade Practices.

To comply with the Environmental Management Policies of Hills Waste Solutions.

To move to other locations on a temporary or permanent basis as requested.
