Temporary Part Qualified Accountant

The Temporary Part Qualified Accountant role is an exciting opportunity to join a successful multinational company.  The role has arisen due to the need to support the contining growth in our  business. This role will suit a part-qualified candidate who is progressing through their exams to become a fully qualified accountant.  It will offer the candidate an opportunity to become part of a global finance team and get involved in all aspects of financial and management accounting.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of monthly balance sheet accounts.
• Posting of accounting entries.
• Maintenance of general ledger.
• Preparation of monthly spend versus budget reports for department managers.
• Completion of CSO and regulatory returns as directed.
• Performance of credits checks on suppliers as directed.
• Sales and costs of sales reporting and reconciliation.
• Assisting in the maintenance of the asset ledger.
• Supporting site operations team in relation to budgets and forecasts.
• Completion of monthly reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Other tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

Education: 

The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant with a strong academic background

Experience:

At least two years accounting experience.  Experience in an industry setting would be an advantage.

Competencies:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on one's own initiative in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
• Flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks when required
