The Role:

Q Underwriting is the MGA within the PIB Group and, since it’s formation in 2019, is already market-leading in terms of the breadth of products and services it provides. The Q Underwriting team based in Leatherhead are experts in the Recruitment Agency, Charity and Faith sectors and has a strong track record of growth.

We are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Support Analyst to join our vibrant, friendly and experienced Underwriting Team based in Leatherhead. This role would suit either an experienced analyst or a new Graduate who is interested in developing a career in a professional and growing financial services organisation. You will have an excellent telephone manner coupled with excellent attention to detail.

Location Accessibility to travel by car or train to Leatherhead in Surrey is important although a degree of flexible working is also available.


You will be providing support to the business by ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of data accuracy and financial performance on behalf of the Underwriting function,
You will present reports including KPI’s, performance against Budgets and overall Insurer delegated requirements
You will be ensuring all statutory and company regulations are followed to protect clients, colleagues, and the business interests of the company,
You will ensure the aQmen treat customers fairly (TCF) principals are fully understood and applied across all customers,
You will acquire, maintain, and record an accurate level of appropriate technical, product and regulatory knowledge and skill in accordance with the job role,
You will perform ad-hoc duties determined by the demands of the business,


You will have advanced knowledge of MS Excel and a good understanding of MS word, Outlook,
You will be able to produce regular detailed financial reports You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, coupled with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills,
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently and multi-task
Have a customer service driven attitude with a proactive approach
You will be a quick learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
