Job Description

  • The identification and investigation of suspicious and fraudulent claims
  • Achieve agreed personal and team goals including financial targets
  • Effective and pro-active management of your own caseload of suspicious fraud cases Receiving and acting upon referrals from the claims teams
  • Work collaboratively with the claims departments to ensure our people are well placed to identify and refer suspicious cases into financial crime
  • Assist in the delivery of fraud awareness training where appropriate

 

What would we like to see in you? 

  • Tenacious and motivated person who has a positive work ethic and is passionate about fraud prevention
  • Team player whilst also at times being able to work autonomously
  • A proven track record of handling insurance claims
  • Experience of handling suspect fraud claims preferred, but not essential
  • Experience of handling complex / high value claims an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to proactively manage your own caseload of files effectively and in accordance with SLA’s
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make sound evidence-based judgments
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across a range of business areas to promote financial crime
  • An enquiring mind with excellent analytical skills
