Senior Digital Design & Implementation Manager

National: £47,000 - £56,524 - London: £52,500 - £60,635 | Newcastle upon Tyne

Location London or Newcastle Job description The Senior Digital Design & Implementation Manager will be responsible for delivering digital systems and services. You will take a service design approach to customer experience, putting the user at the centre of the design process. You will make services as usable as possible to provide the best possible customer experience. This will incorporate policy, process, people and technology to improve our recruitment service offer. Digital systems will mainly be sourced by external suppliers but could extend to internally developed solutions. We are looking for an experienced digital delivery manager with experience of using agile methodology to deliver quality outcomes. You will need experience of the recruitment sector and exceptional leadership capability within an operations and digital environment. You will lead digital development through a period of substantial change and growth over the coming years. You will be responsible for working with suppliers, digital development teams, GRS Recruitment Operations and external stakeholders to ensure GRS has the right digital tools to deliver the highest quality recruitment service to customers. You will use agile methodology to agree priorities and future roadmaps. You must build effective working relationships with key stakeholders to inform them of our capabilities, understand their challenges and work collaboratively to agree and implement solutions. You will lead a team to ensure they apply their business knowledge, skills and experience to get the very most from digital solutions. Leadership will extend to influencing geographically dispersed team members and stakeholders to ensure customers’ needs are at the heart of delivery. Key accountabilities: • Effectively lead your team to ensure GRS Operations has the best possible systems and services to be the recruitment provider of choice. • Implement digital recruitment systems and services to support the business, enabling GRS to deliver quality candidates, using recruitment best practice in the most efficient way. • Work collaboratively with GRS recruitment operations to ensure business readiness and support them through the change cycle to maintain service delivery. • Work with the central digital team and suppliers to ensure systems and services developed meet GRS business requirements and customer needs. • Accurately represent customer needs (vacancy holders, candidates and GRS colleagues) to ensure digital solutions are fit for purpose. • Understand end-to-end complex operational processes and data flows to identify continuous improvement with both existing and new digital systems and services. • As a centralised ‘expert service’ we operate via collective working arrangements across multiple government departments and agencies: you will need to identify, establish and nurture business relationships across the Civil Service and within the Cabinet Office to achieve GRS objectives. • Work with team members in Digital Design & Insight to ensure continuous improvement - encourage collaborative working to ensure we get maximum value from GRS digital functionality.
